Don’t miss one of your last chances to receive FREE training in the SPARK curricula sponsored by NCAAHPERD’s IsPOD initiative.
In an effort to make this training available to as many NC PE teachers as possible, we are hosting regional sessions across the state. We selected sites convenient to most areas of the state, so there should be a training event not far from you!
Each host location will conduct two sessions: one for middle school PE teachers and another for elementary PE teachers. (The elementary session will cover both the K-2 and 3-6 curricula.)
Training is FREE! And if you’ve not attended SPARK training in the past, NCAAHPERD will reimburse the cost of your sub.
Already attended SPARK training previously? Even you have attended SPARK training in the past, you may attend a session to review the SPARK curriculum. There’s no fee to attend the training. However, priority will be given to teachers who have not previously attended. Sub reimbursement is not available to teachers attending a session for a second time.

The IsPOD initiative will obtain student, teacher, and class information via NCWISE in early September, 2011. Data will be imported into secure IsPOD databases immediately there-after.
Once FITNESSGRAM becomes available to North Carolina teachers, each physical education teacher will receive an e-mail with their FITNESSGRAM™ username & password, along with a link to access the application.
Please do not send help-desk tickets requesting a username and password until after the FITNESSGRAM™ program has launched in September.
